The Los Angeles Football Club is one game away from the Western Conference final.
To advance to the final, they must face the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference Semi-final at BMO Stadium.
LAFC knocked down the Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 in Game 3 of their Round One Best-of-3 Series on Friday to advance in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Seattle Sounders scrapped past the Houston Dynamo 1-1 7-6 on penalties of their Round One Best-of-3 Series on Friday to advance in the playoffs.
Both sides have met in the MLS, U.S. Open Cup, and Leagues Cup. In the U.S. Open Cup, LAFC eliminated the Seattle Sounders in the Semi-finals at Starfire Sports, beating them 1-0.
In the League Cup quarter-final, LAFC beat the Seattle Sounders 3-0; in the MLS, LAFC won 2-1 and 3-0 home and away.
Overall, LAFC beat the Seattle Sounders four times in all competitions.
But this Saturday, it’s going to be different.
The Seattle Sounders have been the better side in the last months despite LAFC finishing above them and outscoring the Sounders 9-1.
The Sounders are known for performing in big games towards the end of the season. They also have the experience and the leadership to win.
LAFC, on the other hand, also has the experience and the home advantage to advance to the Western Conference final.
Despite their decent form, the Black and Gold have the tools to win this game and are ready to take on Minnesota United or LA Galaxy.
