Los Angeles Football Club has shown interest in signing French Midfielder Paul Pogba, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.
Pogba is set to leave Juventus in the coming months, although being available to return to play in 2025.
Following a 3-0 victory against Udinese last August, Pogba received a four-year ban after failing a doping test. That suspension has since been reduced to 18 months, meaning he can return in March 2025.
However, Juventus wants to terminate his contract or move him on. Currently, French club Marseille has been reported as a possible option for Pogba. But Pogba hasn’t yet decided whether he wants to stay in Europe.
The French player is also linked with a possible move to Saudi Arabia’s Pro League. However, Pogba’s preference could be in the United States.
LAFC already have three designated players on their roster, but out of the three designated players, Carlos Vela and Hugo Lloris are due to expire at the end of the year.
If they don’t renew their contract, it will free up space for Pogba to join the Black and Gold. Paul Pogba could rejoin Oliver Girond or Lloris, who lifted the 2018 World Cup.
