It’s finally here. The Los Angeles Football Club has released the 34-game 2025 MLS season schedule. The Black and Gold will kick off their eighth season and the 30th season in MLS history.
LAFC’s first MLS game of 2025 will be against Minnesota United at BMO Stadium on Saturday, Feb 22, at 1:30 p.m. PT.
Of course, when looking at the new schedule, LAFC supporters are looking for notable matchups, including the first-ever road trip to San Diego and facing new MLS team San Diego on March 29th.
The Black and Gold face the 2024 MLS Champions LA Galaxy on May 18 at Dignity Health Sports Park and July 19 at BMO Stadium. Also, LAFC will want revenge against the Seattle Sounders on March 8th after the Sounders knocked LAFC in the Western Conference semifinals last month, losing 2-1 at home.
There are some interesting matchups, including a third MLS Cup appearance in the last four seasons. LAFC welcomes Atlanta United for the final home game before officially ending the 2025 season against the Colorado Rapids.
LAFC will meet the Chicago Fire for the third occasion, as well as away days versus CF Montreal on May 24 and New England Revolution on August 16. This will be the first time LAFC has visited either team since 2019.
