The Los Angeles Kings and Mercury Insurance have come together to launch the Hockeywood Wall of Fame.
This will be a vital part of the community, honoring unsung heroes of the entire Los Angeles community.
The wall’s permanent home will be at the Toyota Sports Performance Center, as it was revealed at a launch event on November 17th.
The wall features Kings captain Anze Kopitar, Kevin Fiala, and Trevor Lewis.
Kings, Mercury Unveils Wall Dedicated to Los Angeles Community Heroes
In addition to Kopitar, Fiala, and Lewis, Mercury Insurance executives were also inducted. One of those members, Kendal Troutman, founded 24 Degrees and Thru Guidance Ministries.

The Hockeywood Wall of Fame is intended to do one thing only: to celebrate the hard-working members of society with coaches, teachers, and nurses in mind. Local heroes who have made a difference will be featured on the Hockeywood Wall of Fame shortly.
The Hockeywood Wall of Fame is more than recognition. It also includes a video art wall, which millions of visitors see yearly. A website has also been created to detail the program and provide a form to nominate those who have worked hard for their community.
The Wall of Fame also includes these elements: each hero recognized will receive two complimentary tickets to a Kings game, a special tribute during the game, a limited edition Kings jersey with a special Mercury logo, and a personalized memento for their contributions. Additionally, Mercury will honor two heroes each month throughout the hockey season.
The partnership between the Kings and Mercury Insurance is something special to recognize those who typically go unnoticed.
Many lives are changed because of these special people, and those who change lives should be given time in the spotlight.
A tremendous way for the Kings and Mercury to honor these special people throughout the season.
This is another way for the Los Angeles Kings to support a worthy cause and get involved as much as possible away from the ice.
