The Los Angeles Kings have unveiled their preseason schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season, and it has a different look this season. Seven games will be played at seven different venues. This preseason they have opponents like the Anaheim Ducks, Utah Mamonth, and Vegas Golden Knights. The schedule is below, and it is the first of many important dates for the 2025-26 season. The full regular season schedule will follow in the near future.
Honda Classic September 21 vs Anaheim Ducks Toyota Arena- Ontario, California 3:00 PM September 23 vs Vegas Golden Knights T-mobile Arena – Vegas 7:00 PM September 24 vs Anaheim Ducks Honda Arena- Anaheim 7:00 PM September 27 vs Anaheim Ducks Dignity Health Arena – Bakersfield, California 3:00 PM September 30 vs Utah Mammoth Idaho Central Arena- Boise, Idaho 7:00 PM October 2 vs Utah Mammoth Delta Center- Salt Lake City, Utah 7:00 PM October 4 vs Anaheim Ducks Crypto.com Arena- Los Angeles 1:00 PM
The Kings will be the home team in three games, including the game against Anaheim in Bakersfield on September 27th. Due to reconstruction, the Kings will also play their first preseason game at Crypto.com Arena in three years due to upgrades being made to the arena.

With the regular season schedule to follow, the next few weeks will be the most important of the Kings season. The 2025 NHL Draft will take place on June 27 and 28 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, followed by the all-important free agency period that begins July 1st. The Kings took Windsor Spitfires forward Liam Greentree last season with their first pick. he is expected to be on the Kings’s roster this season or spend another season in Windsor.
General Manager Ken Holland has a chance to put his name on this team rather quickly. A solid draft and a big free agency period could put this team back into serious Stanley Cup contention. We cannot rule out trades before or after the draft as he wants to make this team elite in a short amount of time. The Edmonton Oilers have ousted the Kings in the first round the last four seasons and Holland wants to put a stop to that. Los Angeles is looking to make a massive statement this offseason to get a team that is better than last season and make their way past the first round. With roster changes expected, it will be interesting to see where this team is come training camp.
