The Los Angeles Kings will be hosting the 2024 NHL Rookie Face-off this season, with a total of seven teams competing, and the Seattle Kraken competing only twice. The teams include the Kings, the Kraken, The Colorado Avalanche, the San Jose Sharks, the Utah Hockey Club, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Vegas Golden Knights.
Kings rookies set to compete
While the roster for each team is unknown, we do know the schedule. The face-off will take place from September 13-16 at the Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo, California. The seven teams will send their prospects to the 10-game showcase during the four-day event. On Friday, September 13, three games will take place, followed by two games on Saturday, September 14, and two games on Sunday, September 15. Monday, September 16 will be the final day of competition and include six of the seven teams seeing action.

Look for forward Liam Greentree, goaltender Carter George, and other 2024 NHL Draft picks to participate in this Rookie Face-off. This is a perfect scenario for these young players to put their skills to the test against other top rookies from six other teams. A big step in their development to become pivotal NHL stars
