Tampa Bay Lightning vs Detroit Red Wings

We open up NHL predictions with the Tampa Bay Lightning taking on the Detroit Red Wings. Tampa Bay is expected to go with Andrei Vasilevskiy, but always check out social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Lightning are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games, which includes two straight victories. Tampa Bay has been paced by Brandon Hagel, who has 24 goals and 32 assists this season.
Alex Lyon is the confirmed starter for the Red Wings, who are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games. Detroit has been playing at a blistering pace with victories in seven consecutive games. Lucas Raymond has scored 21 goals with 37 assists for the Red Wings.
Detroit has been playing great, but Tampa Bay gets the victory to stop the streak.
Prediction: Lightning win 3-2.
Vegas Golden Knights vs Boston Bruins
Time: 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: ABC; Sportsnet; ESPN+
We have another early matchup in our NHL predictions with the Vegas Golden Knights visiting the Boston Bruins. Ilya Samsonov is the projected starter for the Golden Knights, who are 3-4-3 in the last 10 games. However, Vegas is coming off a victory entering this matchup. Jack Eichel is averaging over a point a game with eight goals and added four assists over the last 10 games.
Jeremy Swayman is the likely starter for the Bruins, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. However, Boston is coming off a loss coming into this game. The B’s are 18-8-3 at home this season. David Pastrnak has collected 28 goals and 39 assists for the Bruins.
Vegas may be the better team, but Boston has been in better form as of late.
Prediction: Bruins win 4-2.
Toronto Maple Leafs vs Vancouver Canucks
Head-to-Head: Maple Leafs 0-1 Canucks
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: CBC; Sportsnet; ESPN+
The last game of NHL predictions is our featured matchup between the Maple Leafs and the Canucks. Joseph Woll is the projected starter for Toronto, which is 6-4 in the last 10 games. However, the Leafs have won their last three games coming into this one. John Tavares has turned back the clock with 21 goals and 24 assists for the Maple Leafs
Thatcher Demko is the expected starter for the Canucks, who are 6-3-1 in the last 10 games. This includes victories in the last two consecutive games for Vancouver. The previous matchup between the two teams was a 3-0 win for the Canucks in Toronto. Defenceman Quinn Hughes has been great all season with 14 goals with 45 assists for Vancouver.
Both teams are playing better, but Toronto takes home the win.
Prediction: Maple Leafs win 3-2.
