The NFL is known for having some clunkers … so what’s your choice?
Los Angeles Rams fans have been blessed with stellar matchups over the years. From the NFC Championship bout against the 49ers to the 2022 Super Bowl, fans have been treated to some thrilling wins in the Sean McVay era.
Like any sports league, there have been countless stinkers as well. One of the worst NFL games I’ve ever seen was the Rams-Patriots Super Bowl snooze fest that ended 13-3. The game was a major letdown for a matchup with so much hype going into it. That might’ve been karma for the missed pass interference call against the Saints. Oops.
Jared Goff completed half of his passes and somehow played much worse than the box score indicated. Not to mention, Maroon 5 was the halftime show that year, so the night was a loss regardless. It’s a miracle how no fans revolted or demanded a refund for that torturous night they were put through.
While that was the worst Rams game I’ve seen, here is another game that deserves to roast in the flames of football hell: Broncos-49ers from 2022. That year’s Broncos team was an utter abomination and had an “offense” that set football back to the 1940s. Denver trailed 10-5 halfway through the fourth quarter in that matchup. Yep, you read that right … 10-5(!)
Clearly, I had nothing better to do that night besides watch the crappiest football I’ve ever seen. Maybe I had trouble sleeping that night.
Anyway, what’s the worst NFL game you’ve ever seen? It can be a Rams game, or anything else your eyeballs had the unfortunate opportunity of watching. Go ahead and drop those games in the comments!
