Looking at the highest-grossing films in the years of the Rams’ five SB appearances
The slow period of the Los Angeles Rams’ offseason is struggling to hold our attention. Fortunately for NFL fans everywhere, we are deep into the summer movie season, so while football isn’t entertaining us right now, the same cannot be said about all the blockbusters playing in theaters.
This summer has seen the final (for now) installment of the “Mission: Impossible” series and live-action remakes of “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Lilo & Stitch.” On the docket in July is the highly anticipated “Superman” and “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” It’s only July, so there are more blockbusters to come.
It would be fun to look at the top five highest-grossing films from each of the five years the Rams have appeared in the Super Bowl. Notice how I said year, not season.
