Modern technology has allowed fans to play the role of NFL general manager for the fun of it. Sites such as Pro Football Focus and ESPN created mock draft simulators, which let fans call the shots in the war room.
PFF’s is particularly popular and is frequently used by fans in the lead up to the NFL draft. Not only do they get to pick who the Rams draft at No. 19 overall, but they can see who might be available at that spot.
On Twitter, PFF shared which player has been selected most often for Los Angeles at No. 19 overall, and it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. With Aaron Donald retired, Texas defensive tackle Byron Murphy II is the most popular pick for the Rams.
He’s been selected by Los Angeles in 17.8% of mock drafts.

Murphy is viewed as the top defensive tackle in the class, alongside Johnny Newton out of Illinois. Either player would be a great selection for the Rams at No. 19 and it’s very possible one of the two could be drafted to help replace Donald.
Last season at Texas, Murphy had five sacks and 8.5 tackles for a loss.
