Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay isn’t sure whether Stetson Bennett will be on the team next year.
The team used a fourth-round pick on him in last year’s draft but didn’t play this season since he was on the non-football injury/illness list.
“You know, I don’t know that,” McVay said, via ProFootballTalk. “I think that’s a conversation for another time. I think he’s doing better, but I wouldn’t be in a position to answer that accurately right now. That’s probably a long way away from me being able to answer that.”
The Rams selected Bennett out of Georgia after he led the program to back-to-back national titles.
Hopefully, he’ll be good to go for next season so that he can potentially be Matthew Stafford’s backup.
The Rams had their 2023 season come to an end with a 24-23 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
