McVay called Williams’ run “fitting” for how to close out the Rams win
Kyren Williams showed that he can put the game away when it counts and that’s what Sean McVay appreciates about him. Williams sealed the victory with a bruising first down run in the final minute of the contest to give the Rams a 21-14 win over the Saints on Sunday. McVay was the first to congratulate him after the play.

It was then poetic after the match that McVay gave Williams the final game ball of the day, and praised how the running back responded from LA’s crushing defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12.
“I think it’s fitting that he closes the game. You see the way that he approached the week, you talk about a guy that is all about the right kind of stuff, and he did something today that nobody is surprised about, alright except we all knew, he knew what a G Kyren Williams is.”

Now can L.A. finally get above a .500 record for the first time this season by beating the Bills next week?
