The Los Angeles Rams have been aggressive in their pursuit of defensive backs this offseason, already signing Darious Williams, Tre’Davious White and Kamren Curl in free agency. Even after making those three big additions, the Rams could use another starting safety to play alongside Curl.
That player could come in the draft and a potential target is TCU’s Mark Perry. According to Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network, the Rams have shown “extensive” interest in Perry and will meet with him virtually in the next few days.
As Fowler notes, the Rams have never been afraid to draft a TCU product. Last year alone, they took Steve Avila and Tre Tomlinson out of TCU, and both Ochaun Mathis and Zach Evans played there before transferring.

Perry played the last two years at TCU, recording 142 total tackles with six pass breakups. He didn’t have an interception but he had three in 2021 while at Colorado.
He’s expected to be a Day 3 pick, likely in the sixth or seventh round.
