Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 6/19/25

Terrance Ferguson may not only someday replace Tyler Higbee as the Los Angeles Rams’ starting tight end, but he has a chance to flourish in Sean McVay’s offense. Could he actually be a contender for Offensive Rookie of the Year?

I doubt it, because it’s likely it goes to a quarterback or a running back, but hey you never know until you know, and Ferguson certainly has a chance as much as any other tight end drafted this year.

I finally have a few (not just a couple) days off from my main job, so I am hoping to comment and have some fun over the next few days with Turf Show Times!…or maybe I’ll just do nothing. That sounds kinda nice too.

Please comment on whatever you, thanks for checking out the site and have a great day!

“Higbee is 32 entering the season and only played in three regular season games in 2024. The veteran tight end was recovering from an ACL and MCL tear. Tight end Colby Parkinson stepped up in Higbee’s absence last season, but the Rams utilized the draft to bring in a young offensive weapon. With Higbee’s injury history and his age, the Rams selected Ferguson in the draft.

Ferguson was one of the top tight ends in the 2025 NFL Draft. While he fell to the second round, he was compared to tight ends Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland, two first-round draft selections. Ferguson was a pick Rams coach Sean McVay was excited about, setting the former Oregon tight end up for a bright future in the NFL.”

Sean McVay lays out the ‘obstacles’ preventing the Rams from trading for Jalen Ramsey (ramswire)

“The Los Angeles Rams have been interested in potentially acquiring the All-Pro cornerback but as time passes, they seem less and less likely to bring him in – especially with the way Sean McVay has been talking.

He was asked about Ramsey’s situation again on Tuesday and though he said there are “no updates,” he did acknowledge there are “a lot of layers and a lot of parameters that would need to take place” in order for the Rams to make a trade for him.”
