Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 12/5/24
“NFL Films Presents” is fun way to get to know players and teams around the NFL and the video about Puka Nacua (linked below or here) is no exception. It’s about a 10-minute watch, but if you are a fan of the Los Angeles Rams then you aren’t going to want to miss it!
Whether you watch football just for the football, fantasy football or the gambling (or whatever reason you watch!) I am guessing you have heard of Nacua. The rookie phenom has been hurt in his sophomore year, but when he has the ball, he doesn’t look like a one-year wonder to me. He looks like he can be special, but of course he will need to stay healthy.
Check out the video, comment on whatever you’d like and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!

8 LA Rams no-cost quick fixes needed to beat the formidable Buffalo Bills (ramblinfan)
“It may seem counter-intuitive to tout the defense’s ability to step up and make plays, and then slide into improving football fundamentals, but that is an area that needs to remain the focus of the coaches. From tackling, to communication, to being in position to make plays, the Rams young players, and the almost constant reforming of the offensive line and secondary, has allowed the team to slip on basic football fundamentals.”

Los Angeles Rams Insider Podcast: Latest Power Rankings and More (si.com)
“The Rams are widely considering to be a bottom half team by almost all publications, but a few had brought them up close to the top 15. Eric Edholm from NFL.com brought the Rams up three spots to 16th while David Helman from Fox Sports advanced the Rams four spots to 17th from 21st.
As the season draws to an end and the Rams are in desperate need of some big wins to make the playoffs, they decided to add another secondary defender to their roster. Former Washington Commanders first-round pick, cornerback Emmanuel Forbes Jr. was claimed off waivers.”

The perfect player just fell into the LA Rams laps, and here are 6 reasons why: (ramblinfan)
“Of course, that happened the day before the LA Rams travelled to face the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans, Louisiana. But the event was noted, and I had already begun to assess the advantages of the team reaching out to Forbes agent to see if the team could add him on a team-friendly contract. But the window for such an article has passed.
Instead, I have an opportunity to write about why the Los Angeles Rams claiming cornerback Emmanuel Forbes off the Washington Commanders waiver wire was the right move.”
