Kobie Turner was recently on The Masked Singer, and his persona on that show was a friendly creature named “Goo.” What I know about The Masked Signer is that the actor Mickey Rourke was on it once, but I can’t say I follow the show. Regardless, really cool to see Turner using his various talents to play football and participate in the musical competition.
Turner already has the nickname “The Conductor” for his musical gifts and interests, and so now perhaps he has a new nickname: Goo. What do you think?
I was Goo on Masked Singer Season 12!! I could not be more grateful to all those who made this show so special for Alissa and I.
Goo team, you will forever have a special place in my heart.

The Masked Singer surprises with new format, and reveals Goo as NFL star in quarterfinals (ew.com)
“Final guesses for Goo were very sports heavy, with Rita Ora guessing wrestler John Cena, Jeong picking former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, Robin Thicke choosing former NFL star Aaron Donald, and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg going with Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Kobie Turner.
In the end, McCarthy-Wahlberg was the only one correct — Goo was indeed Turner, who in addition to his NFL career, famously ran three a cappella groups while in high school, earning him the nickname ”The Conductor.” He’s also performed the national anthem at Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings games (and should definitely look into a post-football career in music).”
Set for a Sunday duel.
