Rams 7-round mock draft: How Matthew Stafford and Alaric Jackson deals could change LA’s plans (ramswire)
“A lot can change in a single day in the NFL, as we saw with the Los Angeles Rams on Friday. Not only did they get a deal done with Matthew Stafford to keep him as their quarterback, but they also agreed to a three-year extension with left tackle Alaric Jackson.
Those were two of the Rams’ biggest tasks of the offseason, and they somehow checked both boxes in one busy day. While those deals were coming together, the NFL combine was taking place in Indianapolis where the draft’s top prospects worked out in front of coaches, scouts and general managers.”
“That was always the end goal in mind.”
