Rams are favored over the Patriots on the road in Week 11
The L.A. Rams have a chance to rid themselves of their stinky loss to the Dolphins as they take on the Patriots in Week 11, with LA a 4.5-point favorite on the road at FanDuel Sportsbook.
After winning three straight to get to .500, the Rams laid an absolute egg in front of a national audience in a 23-15 loss to the Dolphins on Monday Night Football. LA’s offense failed to score a touchdown as they let kicker Josh Karty have all the fun. Miami took a 10-6 lead into halftime, and that deficit might’ve grown worse had Defensive Rookie of the Year favorite Jared Verse not stripped-sacked Tua Tagovailoa with the Fins driving halfway through the second quarter.

Los Angeles got it within eight twice in the second half, until Miami’s Jason Sanders kicked a 50-yard field goal with 2:38 remaining to put his team up 11. That proved too much for the inept Rams offense to overcome as they converted only 3-of-12 on third down all night.
New England won its third game of the season in dominant fashion in a 19-3 win over da barely-there Bears at Soldier Field. The Patriots held Caleb Williams and the Chicago offense to 142 total yards—including 69 passing yards (nice) while factoring in QB takedowns—and sacked the former USC star nine times. Anyone that has watched Shane Waldron call games in the Windy City should not be surprised by the Bears’ dismal showing. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye put together a solid effort following a slow start by completing 15-of-25 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown to fellow first-year player Ja’Lynn Polk, who caught his second score of the year.

The Patriots played well against the Bears, yet the Rams present a MAJOR step up in competition. Los Angeles enters this matchup on a short week having played on Monday night, but I’m not expecting that to matter much here. LA’s young defensive line is clicking at the right time and should give Maye fits as the Rams take care of business in Foxborough.
