Rams vs. Patriots injury report: Latest updates, news for Week 11

November 14, 2024 by Rams Wire

It’s officially Week 11 and the Los Angeles Rams have moved past their deflating loss to the Miami Dolphins on Monday night. Up next is another AFC East opponent, with the Rams visiting the New England Patriots.

Each team held its first practice of the week on Wednesday, though the Rams only opted to have a walk-through instead of a full practice. Therefore, participation on their initial injury report is an estimation.

The Rams listed six players on Wednesday’s report, including Rob Havenstein, Joe Noteboom, Byron Young and Kam Curl. Four players would have been non-participants in practice, one would have been limited and Curl would’ve been a full participant.

The Patriots’ injury report was much longer, with 12 players being listed – though only five of them missed practice altogether.

Rob Havenstein injury update

Sean McVay said Wednesday that there’s a chance Havenstein will play against the Patriots on Sunday after missing Week 10, but he also added that it’s “probably less likely than likely,” so the outlook isn’t great.

Joe Noteboom injury update

In addition to Havenstein, Noteboom also would’ve missed practice with an ankle injury. Noteboom was on IR for eight weeks with an ankle injury before returning on Monday night, but it’s unclear if this is related or how severe it is.

If Havenstein and Noteboom both miss the game, Warren McClendon Jr. would start at right tackle.

Byron Young injury update

Young is a surprise addition to the injury report as he seems to be dealing with a knee injury. It likely occurred in Monday’s game, but he would’ve been limited in practice so that’s a good sign for his availability this weekend.

Kam Curl injury update

Curl is still dealing with a knee injury suffered a few weeks ago but he’s making progress and would’ve been a full participant in practice.
