Two hot teams square off on Sunday Night Football
On a Sunday Night Football national stage, the Los Angeles Rams host the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles, attempting to prove they are relevant in playoff scenario discussions. Kickoff from Sofi Stadium is set for 5:15 p.m.
Both teams have been playing well in recent weeks, the 8-2 Eagles have won six straight games, while 5-5 Rams have been victorious in four of their last five. Philly enjoys a 1 1⁄2 game lead and threatens to pull away in the East. L.A. continues to claw its way up in the West, now sitting one game behind the division-leading Arizona Cardinals.
Philadelphia’s offense is stocked with highly drafted playmakers and very well-balanced, accruing 1986 yards through the air and 1813 on the ground. The Rams have been troubled by mobile quarterbacks and Jalen Hurts (Rd 2) fits that profile. He does it both with his arm and legs, hitting on almost 70% of his passes and rushing for 417 yards. AJ Brown (Rd 2) and DeVonta Smith Rd 1) are the deep targets, while tight end Dallas Goedert (Rd 2) works underneath. Running back Saquon Barkley (Rd 1) powers the rush attack with 1137 yards and 10 total touchdowns.
L.A. will counter with Matthew Stafford leading an offense that has mostly sputtered this season. Stafford has been starting to show signs of heating things up now that top receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua have returned from injury. The run game has been hobbled by injuries as well, the Rams offensive line has been shuffled around with seven different lineups in 10 weeks and are mired at the bottom of NFL rankings.
On the injury front, both teams are in pretty good shape considering it’s Week 11. For the Rams, tackle Rob Havenstein has missed the past two games with a bad ankle and been limited in practice, while guard Kevin Dotson hasn’t worked due to an illness. From Philly, the big news is that wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been sidelined with an ailing hamstring.

Can the Rams score a defining win against a Philadelphia Eagles team that boasts both a Top 10 offense and defense?
