Can LA go for the sweep on Thursday Night Football?
The Los Angeles Rams got over .500 for the first time all season in Week 14 and will be going for a sweep of the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football, with the Rams a 2.5-point underdog at FanDuel Sportsbook. LA will attempt to sweep the Niners for the first time since the 2018 campaign.
WHAT. A. FREAKING. GAME.
The Rams and Bills played in an absolute thriller on Sunday, with LA prevailing in a 44-42 barnburner at SoFi Stadium. In the highest-scoring matchup of the season, it was the first game in NFL history in which each team scored 40+ points with zero turnovers. LA overcame 6 total touchdowns from MVP candidate Josh Allen. Matthew Stafford went 23-of-30 passing for 320 yards and 2 touchdowns. Puka Nacua led the Rams with 12 receptions for 162 yards and a score. Cooper Kupp added 92 yards and a knee-rrific touchdown that put the Helmet Catch to shame.

After three straight losses, the 49ers received no challenge from Da Bears in Chicago’s first game without head coach Matt Eberflus. Brock Purdy was practically perfect in San Francisco’s 38-13 win, going 20-of-25 for 325 yards and 2 touchdown passes. Isaac Guerendo started in place of the injured Christian McCaffrey and totaled 78 rushing yards with 2 scores on the ground before later exiting with a foot sprain.

San Francisco looked great against the Bears, but Chicago has been a mess all season. The Rams are playing at a much different level and will prove too much for a depleted Niners squad on a short week. Expect LA’s offensive output they displayed at home against Buffalo to carry over in a win over a hated division rival. Suck on that Whiners!
