Brian Allen spent almost all of his career with the Rams
Former L.A. Rams center Brian Allen announced his retirement on Wednesday, ending his seven-year career at the age of 29. Allen, a fourth round pick out of Michigan State in 2018, never appeared in a game with any team other than the Rams.
He started 32 games with the Rams, including 16 games and all four playoff games during L.A.’s Super Bowl run in 2021.

Allen’s stint as a Super Bowl winning center didn’t quite move the needle enough for him to have a long-term career as an NFL starter, unfortunately.
He started seven more games in 2022, then only appeared in 34 snaps in 2023. The Rams turned to Coleman Shelton in 2022, then drafted Steve Avila in 2023, and Beaux Limmer in 2024.
Allen had a short offseason stint with the Browns in 2023, but was out of the NFL in 2024. OvertheCap.com lists his career earnings at $11.4 million.
