Without anything to play for, the Rams and Seahawks will face off in the afternoon
The NFL was waiting to see if the Week 18 game between the L.A. Rams and Seattle Seahawks would be for something, but that idea was put to bed on Sunday night when the Commanders beat the Falcons. With that result, the Rams clinched the NFC West and the three-seed in the NFC playoffs, eliminating the Seahawks from playoff contention.
So with that, the Week 18 game means nothing and won’t be flexed to Sunday or Saturday night. Fans shouldn’t expect to see Matthew Stafford or Puka Nacua either, as the Rams will rest starters as Sean McVay always does in situations like this one.
Week 18 …
Saturday: Browns at Ravens (4:30 p.m.), Bengals at Steelers (8 p.m.).
Late-window Sunday: Chiefs at Broncos, Chargers at Raiders, Dolphins at Jets, 49ers at Cardinals, Seahawks at Rams.
Sunday Night Football: Vikings at Lions.

The Rams will close out the season at 10-7 or 11-6, another winning season for McVay. Other than 2022, McVay has never had a losing season and this will be another double-digit victory tally on his already impressive resume as the head coach.
