The Los Angeles Rams finds a way to get back to a .500 record and stay alive
The Los Angeles Rams (6-6) beat the New Orleans Saints (4-8) by a final score of 21-14 in Week 13 of the NFL season. This game started a bit slow as the Saints led 6-0 after the first half, but both teams came alive to score some touchdowns in the second half of this hard-fought contest.
It’s cliche, but it’s true when I say this was a bit of a tale of two halves for LA. The Rams began the game scoring zero points in the opening half, but in quarters three and four LA’s offense showed some life and scored 14 unanswered points before ultimately scoring 21 total.
However, the Rams were unable to take total control of the game as the Saints did respond to the tie the score 14-14 with under 12 minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Both teams hung around in this one with neither team finding a way deliver a knock-out punch until the game finally came to a close.
When the final blow came it would be from Kyren Williams as he notched a needed first down to ice the game and allow LA to get back to a .500 record in the tight NFC West.
The Rams have plenty to clean-up, but for tonight they are winners, and they’ll look to keep the streak going next week against the Buffalo Bills.
