You’ve heard of “Wide Receiver U”, but is there a WR-NFL Franchise and is it the Rams?
There has long been a debate of which college football program consistently has the best wide receivers, but which team would that be for the NFL?
And could it be the Rams?
Hall of Famer Isaac Bruce is fifth all-time in career receiving yards (15,208), while Henry Ellard is 15th (13,777), and Torry Holt is 17th (13,382).
Meanwhile, Cooper Kupp was an Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl MVP, Elroy Hirsch is in the Hall of Fame, as is Tom Fears, Puka Nacua set multiple long-standing rookie receiving yards in 2023, and then you’ve got the likes of Flipper Anderson, Jack Snow, Red Phillips, and Robert Woods.
Is that enough to be considered for the NFL’s version of “WR U”?
I’ll post six wide receiver-related questions in the comments section below and YOU help me by answering them from your perspective as a fan who is probably more well-informed than anyone else. Many of you have memories of Fears, Snow, Ellard, and so on, and your help will be greatly appreciated to get to the bottom of this!
