Who should the Rams want to face in the wild card of the playoffs?
One of the most hyped regular season games in history will happen on Sunday night, as the 14-2 Lions take on the 14-2 Vikings for the title of NFC North champions and the number one seed in the NFC playoffs. The loser of that game will be the top wild card and will face the 4-seed in the first round.
That also means that if the Rams lose to the Seahawks, and the Bucs beat the Falcons, then L.A. would fall to the 4 seed and host the loser of Lions-Vikings.
If the Rams beat the Seahawks, or the Bucs lose to the Falcons, then the Rams will be the 3-seed and who they would face in the wild card round is again not clear:
- The Commanders are 11-5, they play the Cowboys
- The Packers are 11-5, they play the Bears
If the Rams win, they will face either the Commanders or the Packers. Washington is currently the 6-seed, so that means that if all these teams win, L.A. will host the Commanders. If the Commanders lose, the Packers win and the Rams win, then Sean McVay will face former employee Matt LaFleur.
So which team do you want the Rams to face in the wild card round?
- 3-6, Rams-Commanders
- 3-6, Rams-Packers
- 4-5, Rams-Lions
- 4-5, Rams-Vikings
