The Los Angeles Rams earn a win to move to 5-5 and keep their season very much alive
The Los Angeles Rams (5-5) defeated the New England Patriots (3-8) by a final score of 28-22 in their Week 11 matchup. The Rams once again started slow as they were down 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. Once the initial quarter came to a close, a switch seemed to flip for LA’s offense who then started to show some life. Matthew Stafford was slinging it in every sense of the word as he spread the ball out and scored four passing touchdowns before the contest’s end.

It was still a frustrating game for the Rams as they for the second week in a row had multiple self-inflicted wounds. Whether it was Joshua Karty missing a short field goal, penalties on the defense to keep New England offensive drives alive or an awful first quarter for LA’s offense, there were plenty of contributing factors for the Rams not easily controlling this game.
There were feel good and get right moments throughout the 60-minute affair like when Colby Parkinson caught his first touchdown of the year to put LA up 28-13, and at the same time the Rams struggled to get too comfortable as Drake Maye and his team kept themselves hanging around.

LA was able to finally close this game out with under two minutes to go with a game winning interception. However, if the Rams are going to continue to make the same type of mistakes week in and week out, then how far can this team go? That’s a question for another time because today the Rams found a way to win and as far as they should be concerned that is all that matters.
