Rams News: Puka Nacua Ranked 41st On NFL Top 100 For 2025 Season

August 9, 2025 by Rams Nation

Puka Nacua, Rams

Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua got off to a dubious start to the 2024 season, as he was injured during training camp and suffered another injury in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions.

Nacua was placed on injured reserve and missed five games before he was activated for the Rams’ Week 8 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. While Nacua wasn’t 100 percent physically, he was still heavily involved in the game plan and helped lead the Rams to a win.

Nacua would go on to have a strong second half of the regular season and his production fueled their surge to win the NFC West. In the playoffs, Nacua recorded 11 total receptions and 141 yards though some of his catches came in clutch situations.

The young wideout has firmly established himself as a rising star and he was recognized by his peers as the 41st ranked player on the NFL Top 100 for the 2025 season, via NFL:

Known for his jovial personality and childlike demeanor, Nacua is a joy to watch on the field as he plays a tough, physical brand of football not often seen at the wide receiver position. While he may not be a downfield burner, Puka has a knack for beating most defensive coverages and giving Matthew Stafford an open target to throw to.

Nacua might not be asked to do as much now that Davante Adams is his running mate, but he’s still expected to handle most of the targets because of his familiarity with the scheme and his talent. At 41, the Rams star has plenty of room to move up the list and there’s a good chance he does just that if he continues to improve at the rate that he has.

Puka Nacua reveals advice from Davante Adams

Puka Nacua had a great mentor in Cooper Kupp his first two years in the league, and he was spoiled with another when the Rams signed Davante Adams in free agency. Adams may be older, but he remains one of the savviest wideouts in the league and someone that Nacua can surely learn from.

While Adams hasn’t been with the Rams long, he’s already in Nacua’s ear and the latter revealed the advice he got. Nacua has been a sponge when it comes to learning from some of the best in the league, and he could take another leap with Adams running alongside him.
