Kyren Williams enjoyed a career year with the Los Angeles Rams in 2024 as he rushed for 1,299 yards and scored a total of 16 touchdowns in 16 games.
That came on the heels of a breakout 2023 season in which Williams totaled 15 touchdowns and led the NFL with 95.3 rushing yards per game.
As Williams enters the final year of his rookie contract with the Rams, he was ranked 85th on the NFL Top 100 list going into 2025:

Williams was ranked the 78th best player heading into the 2024 season, so he actually dropped in the rankings this year. However, that’s less about the 24-year-old’s performance and more to do with the overall competition on the list.
Williams has been a big part of the Rams offense over the last two seasons and that figures to be no different in 2025. He has developed into an all-purpose running back who can make contributions as a runner and receiver.
He will once again be the workhorse of a Rams running back room that includes Blake Corum, Ronnie Rivers and 2025 fourth-round pick Jarquez Hunter.
Williams can also be a safety blanket for Matthew Stafford in checkdown situations, making him one of the most valuable players on the Rams offense.
Kyren Williams grateful that Rams want to sign him to contract extension
While a deal hasn’t come to fruition yet, the Rams are making it a priority to sign Kyren Williams to a long-term contract extension, with both general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay publicly saying so this offseason.
Williams is grateful for that and made it clear he does not want to play for another team.
“I don’t want to go play for anybody else besides the Los Angeles Rams, coach McVay, under Les Snead and just around all my teammates I’ve been with the last three or four years,” Williams said earlier this year.
“I hope that we can get that done, and I hope it doesn’t take away from all the other stuff that’s going on with the Rams, and we can get that over with and get back to focusing on ball.”
