Rams Injury News: Puka Nacua & Rob Havenstein Ruled Out Against Jaguars

October 18, 2025 by Rams Nation

Puka Nacua, Rams

The Los Angeles Rams used their mini bye to their advantage as they got healthier and cleaned up things on both sides of the football to pick up a much-needed Week 6 win against a depleted Baltimore Ravens team.

At 4-2, the Rams must feel relatively good about where they sit though there’s a credible argument that they should still be upset that they’re not undefeated. Los Angeles beat themselves in the losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, so it’s hard to anoint them as the best team in the NFC.

The win against Baltimore was a good way to bounce back from the San Francisco loss, though Los Angeles unfortunately saw Puka Nacua go down in a heap after batting down a contested throw in the end zone. Nacua tried to give it a go in the second half, but was eventually ruled out due to an ankle sprain.

Ahead of the team’s Week 7 game in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Rams ruled out both Nacua and Rob Havenstein, via Nate Atkins of The Athletic:

Rams WR Puka Nacua and RT Rob Havenstein are OUT for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

Everyone else is good to go.

— Nate Atkins (@NateAtkins_) October 17, 2025

Nacua and Havenstein were both trending to be ruled out after missing this week’s worth of practices, so this comes as no surprise. Nacua’s absence looms large on the offense as he is Matthew Stafford’s number one target, though Davante Adams is more than capable of filling in as the top option in the passing game. However, this does open up more opportunities for young wideouts like Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington, as well as potentially Terrance Ferguson who has seen more offensive snaps recently.

As far as the offensive line is concerned, Warren McClendon Jr. is slated to start in place of Havenstein again and the swing tackle has performed admirably. McClendon is a valued depth piece at the tackle spot and he has graded out well as a run blocker.

Jacksonville has been solid coming out of the gates of the 2025 season, so Los Angeles will need contributions from everyone to pull off a win.

Matthew Stafford enjoying Rams practice at Oriole Park at Camden Yards

Matthew Stafford will be relied on more heavily to keep the offense moving without Puka Nacua by his side, but he looked to be enjoying his practice time overseas at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
