The Los Angeles Rams continue to beat themselves, whether it’s with negative plays, penalties or lapses in coverage. It was a similar story on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, another disappointing loss for Sean McVay’s team.
The Rams failed to convert yards into points once again, coming up short on a couple of promising drives in the first half. A fumble by Kyren Williams and an interception by Matthew Stafford led directly to points for the Packers, ultimately helping lift Green Bay to a 24-19 win over the Rams.
At 1-4 and heading into the bye, the Rams are in serious trouble in the NFC. They desperately need a win or two after the bye, otherwise they’ll be in danger of falling out of contention quickly.
Here’s a recap of how Sunday’s loss went at SoFi Stadium.
