The Los Angeles Rams are trailing at halftime
The Los Angeles Rams trail the Miami Dolphins by a score of 10-6 after the first half of play. The first two quarters featured turnovers, points and high energy which is exactly what a fan may want to see on a Monday night game.
The Rams and specifically their offense didn’t show up in the first quarter as they quickly found themselves down 7-0 before Miami would score again and make their total 10-0 with about 14 minutes to go in the half.
LA’s offense continued to falter throughout the second quarter as their o-line looked overwhelmed by Miami’s defense. LA responded when their defense forced an interception to give some life to Sean McVay and his team, but then LA’s response was Kyren Williams fumbling on the next play to once again set up Miami’s offense with the ball.
Jared Verse answered the call for LA when he took matters into his own hands and forced a fumble to get the ball back for LA as the chaos of the second quarter continued.
It wasn’t until there were about 6-minutes to go in the first half when LA scored a field goal to earn their first points of the game and make the score 10-3.
LA then tacked on another field to get the score to 10-6 before the second quarter came to a close. LA will get the ball to start the second half.
It’s only been one half of play; however, it’s been the type of game where seemingly anytime the Rams built momentum they would just as quickly lose it, but there’s still plenty of time and storylines to discuss between the first and final whistle!
