There are still about three weeks until the start of the regular season, but another important date is creeping up quickly on the Los Angeles Rams: roster cutdown day. Every team in the NFL must trim their roster to just 53 players by Aug. 27, giving Sean McVay and Les Snead just over one week to make these all-important decisions.
The Rams have just one preseason game left, which takes place on Sunday afternoon in Houston, so they’ll need to sort things out in short order. Coming off their win over the Chargers in Week 2 of the preseason, we have a new 53-man roster projection that features a handful of changes. We have Logan Bruss making the cut at guard, as well as Carlos Watkins on the defensive line and Omar Speights at linebacker.
