Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 12/31/24
The Los Angeles Rams have officially punched their ticket into the postseason and fans of the franchise should celebrate. It’s no easy task to make the playoffs and after starting their season 1-4 many wrote of the Rams as not being ready to make a run.
Well, L.A. must’ve not heard the concerns because all they’ve done is win enough games to earn the right to play after Week 18. Followers and supporters of the team can celebrate this week knowing their team to this point has done a great job.
Now, next week when the Rams gear up to play that might be a different story. There will be plenty to write and talk about once L.A. knows who they will be facing, but for now sit back, relax, get ready for the New Year, and get ready for the Rams upcoming playoff run.

“Maybe I’ll call guys up, say congratulations, we’ll have a Zoom team meeting,” McVay said with a smile. “I don’t know. It’s weird. If we were able to do that, you’d love to be able to do that collectively. However we do it, I’m certainly not going to be complaining. Let’s hope that’s an answer that I have for you the next time we connect.”
The feat is a remarkable one when considering the Rams began the season 1-4, then won 9 of their last 11 – including five-straight entering Week 18 – to put themselves in position to capture the division title.”

“I’m proud of this group and the way they’ve battled back,” Stafford said. “A lot of people doubting us, a lot of people writing us off at 1-4. And being able to sit here with our record is what it is right now, I feel proud of this group.”
After the Seattle Seahawks won Thursday night, the Rams entered the day needing a victory against the Cardinals and 3.5 or more wins by any of the Vikings, Bills, 49ers, Bengals and Browns to clinch the strength-of-victory tiebreaker over Seattle and the NFC West title. The Bengals beat the Broncos on Saturday afternoon for one of those wins.”
