Sean McVay ran over to talk with Andrew Whitworth and the Amazon crew after an “ugly” NFL victory
After the Los Angeles Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football by the low score of 12-6, Sean McVay walked over to be interviewed by the Amazon crew, and one of the first things the head coach said in front of the remaining booing S.F. fans was, “…sometimes you gotta win ugly, and there’s no style points.”
“They don’t like me here.”

McVay said he would’ve liked the team to finish with more touchdowns, but on a rainy Thursday night in S.F. four field goals by rookie kicker Joshua Kary was all L.A. could muster, and fortunately for them it was all it took.
After the Rams won a shootout against the Buffalo Bills last week, they went ahead and won a kick fest as most of the action revolved around punts and field goals. Zero touchdowns were scored.
Zero touchdowns.
Six field goals.
One huge division win for the Rams.Los Angeles braves the elements to beat the 49ers in San Francisco.

Call it an ugly game, call it a snoozefest, but make sure to call it a Rams win because that is all the team will care about. L.A. still has business to take care of, but they are in the driver’s seat to win the NFC West, and in December that is all McVay and the squad can ask for.
