Rams tight end Tyler Higbee went to the hospital, but doesn’t expect to miss the next game
Rams tight end Tyler Higbee left Monday night’s playoff win over the Vikings with a chest/ribs injury that sent him to the hospital and caused him to spit up blood, but he says he won’t miss the divisional round game against the Philadelphia Eagles because of it. Sean McVay echoed that statement to the media and said Higbee was able to travel back to L.A. with the team after returning from the hospital.
Higbee was the Rams leading receiver in the game, catching 5 passes for 58 yards.
Sean McVay said TE Tyler Higbee was hospitalized with a chest injury during the game because he was “spitting up a little bit of blood.” McVay said Higbee made the trip home with the team and he has the “full expectation that he’ll be ready to go” on Sunday against the Eagles.

The Rams heavily featured their tight ends against the Vikings and were able to win 27-9 despite the game moving to Arizona days before kickoff. Higbee should once again be a key player for McVay against the Eagles, as L.A. looks to advance to the NFC Championship game for the first time since 2021 if they are able to win.
