The Rams activated Tyler Higbee to the roster on Tuesday
Tyler Higbee is back. The Los Angeles Rams activated the veteran tight end from injured reserve on Tuesday, ending an almost-year long recovery from the torn ACL that Higbee suffered in L.A.’s wild card loss to the Detroit Lions in January. Higbee will return to face the New York Jets this week, unless the Rams decide to be very safe and try to give those snaps to Colby Parkinson for the time being.
However, it does appear that Higbee will make his 2024 debut and just in time for the Rams playoff push.

In corresponding moves, the Rams placed edge rusher Nick Hampton on IR in order to make room for Higbee.
Also, L.A. signed Rashad Weaver to the practice squad.
Weaver, a 27-year-old outside linebacker who was a fourth round pick of the Titans in 2021 out of Pittsburgh, appeared in three games for the Houston Texans this season. He had 5.5 sacks with the Titans in 2022.
