Ever since winning the wide receiver triple crown in 2021, Cooper Kupp has struggled with injuries, failing to play in more than 12 games in three straight seasons. Kupp got off to a hot start in 2024, despite the injury. However, he ended the season on a down note, almost being ignored in the offensive plan. Kupp will be 32 years old next season. Does he have a rebound in him or is his career on a downturn? Here is the dynasty outlook for Cooper Kupp.
Dynasty Outlook for Cooper Kupp
Current Production
The 2024 season got off to a great start for Kupp, scoring 32 PPR points in the opening game of the season with a whopping 21 targets. Kupp left the Week 2 game with an injury and did not return until Week 8. He returned with a bang, scoring at least 15 fantasy points in six of the next seven games. Unfortunately for him, things took a downturn during the fantasy football playoffs. In Weeks 15-17, he had a combined nine targets and just four catches. He let many fantasy managers down who relied on him during the regular season.
Production was not much better during the NFL postseason, seeing only one target in the NFC Wild Card game against the Vikings for 29 yards. Kupp had a better NFC Divisional, catching five passes for 61 yards in the snow in the loss to the Eagles.
Fellow Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has dominated the target share this season. In twelve games since he returned from injury, Nacua saw at least eight targets eleven times, which relishes Kupp to the WR2 on the Rams.
Kupp Dynasty Price
Kupp has fallen to the WR51 in dynasty, according to KeepTradeCut. That is down from WR25 in September after his great start. Receivers such as Marvin Mims and Rashid Shaheed are slightly ahead of him, while Romeo Doubs, Quentin Johnston, and Rashod Bateman are right below him. These guys are much younger than Kupp, but they are unproven. Kupp is worth a late 2nd round pick in the 2025 rookie draft, according to their trade calculator.
Kupp Dynasty Outlook
Kupp will be 32 years old next season, playing with a 37-year-old quarterback in Matthew Stafford. Nacua is the clear WR1 on the Rams, limiting Kupp’s ceiling. Kupp has finished as the WR38 and WR40 in PPR leagues in the last two seasons. He has only played in 33 games out of a potential 51 in the last two years. It will be hard to trust Kupp for much longer, starting in 2025.

What to Do With Cooper Kupp in Dynasty Leagues
It is time to sell Kupp in dynasty leagues. Nacua is not going anywhere. Kupp has failed to stay healthy for three years in a row, and the chances that he stays healthy as he gets toward his mid-30s become lower. Try to sell Kupp away for one of those younger wide receivers that are ranked around him, or try to get a draft pick with the chance to draft a rookie with a brighter future.
