With a heartbreaking loss in the Wild Card game against New England, there were still plenty of positives to look back on during the Chargers’ 2025 season.
The Chargers made the playoffs for the 2nd consecutive season under head Coach Jim Harbaugh and went 11-5 this season.
The Chargers also went 5-1 against their divisional opponents in the AFC West.
Justin Herbert continued to showcase his talent during the season with amazing performances on the field, with incredible throws to the receivers. The 2025 season saw the return of Keenan Allen after spending one season with Declan Doyle in Chicago.
Though the Chargers did their best to catch the Denver Broncos and win the AFC West, it wasn’t enough, as they suffered a heartbreaking home defeat back in December to the Houston Texans.
The Chargers saw a historic performance from Cameron Dicker, who made 94 career field goals. There were also individual awards for the team to be excited about. Derwin James and Del’Shawn Philips earned second-team All-Pro honors for the Chargers this season. Derwin James was also named PFWA All-AFC. Tuli Tuipulotu also earned PFWA All-AFC for the Chargers.
Though the Chargers fell short of reaching the divisional round of the playoffs and of accomplishing their goal of reaching the Super Bowl, there were still plenty of things to be thankful for and proud of.
