Kristian Fulton Contract

Five-year veteran cornerback Kristian Fulton has signed a new contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Fulton, a former second-round pick, spent the 2024 season with the Los Angeles Chargers but also played for the Tennessee Titans.

The Chiefs have agreed to terms on a two-year, $20 million deal with former Chargers corner Kristian Fulton, per source.

After four unremarkable seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Kristian Fulton jumped ship and signed a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers. This proved to be a wise investment for both player and team, as the cornerback had the best season of his career under head coach Jim Harbaugh. Appearing in 15 games while making 14 starts, the veteran finished the season with one interception, seven passes defended, 51 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and a 68.9 PFF grade. With his help, the Chargers earned a spot in the playoffs but went one-and-done against the Houston Texans.

Kristian Fulton originally entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Selected by the Tennessee Titans, Fulton suffered a knee injury and only played six games as a rookie. During his limited time on the field, Fulton recorded one sack, one interception, one pass defended, 16 tackles, one tackle-f0r-loss, and a 56.1 PFF grade. Tennessee made the playoffs without him but lost in the Wild Card round to the Baltimore Ravens.

Fulton returned to the field in 2021 and put together a respectable season. While a hamstring injury limited him to 13 games, the defensive back still recorded two interceptions, 14 passes defended, 40 tackles, and a 64.1 PFF grade. The Titans once again made the playoffs but lost a close contest to the eventual AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Following another solid season in 2022, Kristian Fulton entered 2023 hoping to prove himself in the final year of his contract. Instead, he struggled, finishing the season with a 46.4 PFF grade, the 118th-best mark out of 127 eligible players. He appeared in 12 games while making 11 starts but didn’t record a single interception and only broke up five passes.
