Chargers Take on New Orleans
The Chargers rolled out to another win in the preseason in a 27-13 win at home against the Saints.
Two Chargers that stood out the most during the game were Chargers undrafted CB Eric Rogers and Chargers backup QB Trey Lance.
CB Eric Rogers
Eric Rogers’ big play in the game came in the third quarter, where he had an interception off Saints QB Tyler Shough on a third-and-6. Rogers also had another interception in that quarter.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said of Eric Rogers’ performance:
“The pick 6, that was as good a play I’ve ever seen.”
QB Trey Lance
Trey Lance is continuing to show the Chargers coaches that he wants to win the 2nd and be the backup QB for Justin Herbert.
Lance led the team with 48 rushing yards on 7 attempts, along with his 55 yards passing.
