The Chargers beat the Falcons, 17-13. It wasn’t pretty offensively, as Justin Herbert was sacked five times. A measly 187 yards of total offense was produced. But the defense stepped up, picking off Kirk Cousins four times, including one by Tarheeb Still that was taken back to the end zone.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, are coming off yet another improbable win, beating the Raiders by a score of 19-17. Las Vegas drove within range of a game-winning field goal with 15 seconds left, only to botch the snap on its final offensive play.
Los Angeles and Kansas City last played in Week 4 at SoFi Stadium, and the Chiefs won 17-10.
