According to The Baltimore Banner, the White House invited the Harbaugh family, along with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. However, details on the meeting between the president and NFL head coaches were not available.

Jim has been outspoken on certain political views over his career, including being outspoken on being anti-abortion. In July 2022, while coaching the Michigan Wolverines, Harbaugh gave the keynote address for the “Plymouth Right to Life” at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth.
“I believe in having the courage to let the unborn be born,” Harbaugh said. “I love life. I believe in having a loving care and respect for life and death. My faith and my science are what drive these beliefs in me. Quoting from Jeremiah, ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’”
Harbaugh has also been in attendance of a President Obama rally for Hillary Clinton in Ann Arbor during the 2016 campaign. He was a guest of President Obama for a State of the Union address, and worked with Michelle Obama on an education initiative.
