Two pairs of Chargers were recognized for their outstanding performance in the 2025 NFL season.
Derwin James and Del’Shawn Philips earned second-team All-Pro honors for the team this season.
Derwin James
Derwin James was selected at the cornerback slot for the award, while Del’Shawn Philips was a special teams selection for the award.
This is Derwin James’ second consecutive season earning Second-Team All-Pro honors at the position. James also garnered his fifth overall All-Pro nod. He was a First- and Second-Team selection in 2018 at two different positions, and earned Second-Team honors in 2022, 2024, and 2025.
Derwin James, who is 29, continues to build off success and continues to get better each season. James finished the regular season second on the team with 94 total tackles.
Del’Shawn Philips
Del’Shawn Philips earned his first All-Pro recognition in his sixth NFL season. The linebacker has been an integral part of the Chargers’ special teams unit this season, leading them in snaps (352).
Philips also set a new franchise record with 24 tackles, the first time the Chargers have reached 24 tackles in a single season.
Those two big contributions from Derwin James and Del’Shawn Philips were part of why the Chargers continue to build momentum from last season.
