The Chargers don’t have much to fight for outside of pride, so expect those looking to keep their jobs to come out brawling against the Bills.
The Chargers are back on the field this Saturday to face the Bills in what probably isn’t expected to be much of a fight in primetime. This game was scheduled before the season began and is going to be the first game exclusively streamed on Peacock. As of Tuesday, the Bills are 10.5-point favorites on the road.
While the 2023 season hasn’t been exactly what the Bills wanted either, they’re still looking at a potential playoff birth after their recent wins over the Chiefs and Cowboys. That’s quite the contrast to where the Chargers are sitting entering Week 16.
Everyone wishes this could have been two AFC powers battling it out behind the arms of their respective star quarterbacks, but destiny had other plans. We’ll all have to settle for Josh Allen vs. Easton Stick.
In Stick’s first start of his career, he put up numbers. He tossed three touchdowns and a pick with 257 passing yards but those were essentially buoyed by the plethora of garbage time created by the early beatdown in the first half. With Kellen Moore passing on interim head coach duties to focus on the offense, the expectation will be that Stick looks much more competent early on than compared to this past Thursday.
