Former Michigan men Karsen Barnhart and Christopher Hinton were among those signed to reserve/future contracts.
On Monday afternoon, the Chargers announced the signings of 10 players to reserve/future free agent contracts. All 10 finished the 2024 season on the team’s practice squad.

Barnhart was a member of Jim Harbaugh’s 2024 CFP National Championship team with the Wolverines while Hinton played for Michigan much earlier in Harbaugh’s tenure.
Fitzpatrick has spent time with the Titans and Steelers since entering the NFL as a fourth-round pick back in 2021. He was elevated from the practice squad for one game this season.
Morris-Brash, Johnson, and Jean-Baptiste were all members of the Chargers’ 2024 undrafted free agent class along with Barnhart.
Patterson is a former UDFA of the Commanders who has 344 career rushing yards and two touchdowns since entering the league in 2021.
