The Chargers had six players on their initial injury report for Week 13 and they were all DNP.
The first Chargers injury report of Week 13 is certainly one of the smallest they’ve had in a while, but at the same time every single player listed was a non-participant on Wednesday.
Tight end Will Dissly (groin), running back J.K. Dobbins (knee), safety Alohi Gilman (hamstring), cornerback Cam Hart (ankle), edge rusher Khalil Mack (rest), and linebacker Denzel Perryman (groin) make up the report. We already know the immediate future for Dobbins who is expected to “miss some time” per Jim Harbaugh with a sprained MCL.

Luckily Mack’s absence is due to a rest day and not a lingering issue with the groin injury that has kept him out of most of the past three games. Dissly is the biggest surprise on this report as he finished Monday’s game without any note of being banged up. With it being a short-ish week going from playing Monday to early on Sunday, I wouldn’t be surprised if the coaching staff was also being overly-cautious to begin the week of prep.
