The franchise tag deadline for NFL teams is today at 1:00 p.m. PT. The Chargers are not expected to use a tag on anyone and we’ve already seen the tag used on several potential free-agent targets in Trey Smith and Tee Higgins.
We’re now just a little over a week from the start of the new league year. We can’t wait for the chaos of free agency to begin!
