Good morning, Chargers fans!
On Wednesday morning, CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco dropped his game picks for Week Three and he’s got the Chargers winning a close decision to the Steelers by a score of 21-17.
“This is a game featuring two 2-0 teams, both with physical styles that will show up each and every Sunday,” says Prisco. “The Steelers have the better defense, but the Chargers are better on offense with Justin Herbert. They are playing consecutive road games, but it won’t matter. They win it on the road.”
While it’s great that Prisco believes in the Chargers, he’s actually objectively wrong on the Steelers having the better defense.
The Chargers enter this week first in points allowed per game, second in yards allowed per game, and sixth in both pass and run defense.
The Steelers are second, fifth, 14th, and fifth in those categories, respectively.
I just needed to get that right for those who are unaware.
Either way, what do you all think of Prisco’s prediction? Yay? Nay? Let us know below!
