Who managed to stand out in a game full of questionable play?
When Brandon Staley talks about “telling the truth” about their recent performance, he’s referring to the notion that just because they won, doesn’t mean they played a good football game.
When you look at this week’s grades for the Chargers from Pro Football Focus, you start to see what he’s talking about a bit better.
The Bolts played a heck of a game. That’s for certain. But it was far from a shimmering outing.
Justin Herbert, who scored five touchdowns without turning the ball over once, finished with a team-high grade of 83.0. That was the Chargers’ only mark above an 80.0 On defense, Chris Harris Jr. led the way with a 76.9, one of only two grades above 70.0 on that side of the ball.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the rest of the best, and worst, grades from this Sunday’s game.
